Testers Needed!

It is not surprising that TaylorMade Qi10 Drivers were among the most requested products to be tested by our members. Several PGA Tour pros immediately put them into their bags and Collin Morikawa swapped his TaylorMade SIM for a QiMax. Yes, that’s correct—a Tour player uses the Max head.

The TaylorMade qi10 series

The series of driver consists of three different models: Max (high spin), LS (low spinning), and Standard. Each model has slightly different weight placements, but only the LS version includes a moveable mass.

The big story here is forgiveness. TaylorMade has created its first driver that breaks the 10,000 MOI barrier (moment inertia). You can read our full overview to learn more about why this is important. TaylorMade qi10 drivers First look

TaylorMade’s shorter version has a multimaterial design, relocated masses and improved shapes in order to achieve maximum forgiving within each model. It claims to still retain the speed (and hence distance) characteristics.

Face and crown are two other major changes. The Qi10 has a glossy black crown and a blue carbon face, unlike previous versions that had a clear separation between the titanium support and the carbon crown. The blue replaces their previous red driver face.
