Explore Narooma Golf Club’s famed Hogan’s Hole, captured in drone footage by Australian videographer Scott Campbell.
There are a bunch of clever people producing some wonderful drone footage of golf courses around the world, and among them is Australia’s Scott Campbell. Campbell is a video and photography expert who has captured many Australian golf courses. Cape WickhamThe Vintage and Barnbougle
In his latest creation, Campbell highlights Narooma Golf Club, featuring the renowned 141-meter, par-3 3rd hole, affectionately referred to as Hogan’s Hole. This hole gained recognition as the filming location for one of Paul Hogan’s Winfield cigarette commercials, and it’s a breathtaking golf hole that requires a golf shot over waves crashing onto the cliffs far below.
And it’s not just Hogan’s Hole that makes Narooma Golf Course one of Australia’s most memorable. Most golfers who play Narooma for the first time can’t help but notice the drastic changes in landscape throughout a round. After the expansive, clifftop golf fairways, you will soon be playing through heathland with huge gum trees before returning to the ocean views.
And once you’re done, have a think about when you can get to Narooma and play it yourself.
